The size of a crack, the character of corrosion, traces of adhesive and expectations for patina remain alongside the photographs and can be revisited at any stage.

Even a small treatment requires intake and examination, preparation of a safe work area, material selection, photographic documentation and a final treatment record. This basic cycle takes time regardless of the size of the object, which is why smaller commissions are not economically practical.
